I can’t believe it’s Fashion Week again! It feels as though it was only a few weeks ago I was dressing models backstage…..oh wait, it was. This year has been going by so rapidly that I’ve been too busy to even miss the hustle and bustle of LFW, but I managed to save time to work at least one show amidst all my other work.

And that was the Julien MacDonald AW16 show.

I wont lie, this was definitely the most upscale and high profile show I think I’ve ever done. The location was what once was St. Marks church, built in the 1820’s, then was converted into an event hall. Easy to say, it was breathtaking.

I wasn’t able to take any photos backstage but here is a photo of the full collection.

The look I dressed was extremely delicate. lots of fringing and heavy beading, It had to stay folded rather than hung up due to the sheer weight of it. While it was tricky to maneuver, once on, it was a stunning piece to see up close and from afar.

This show was an amazing experience for me, and while I probably say that about all the shows I’ve done so far, working with such high quality red carpet style clothing was an absolute treat.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of Fashion Week!

Stay tuned for more excited things coming up soon!

Until Next Time! Xx
